Romany is an associate with Whitelaw Twining. Romany attended the University of Victoria for law school, where he completed the cooperative legal education program. His placements included interning with a regional corporate law firm in Bangkok, Thailand, a four month placement with the Federal Crown in Vancouver and a four-month placement in the civil litigation department of a Victoria law firm.
Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining, Romany articled with a prominent Toronto Insurance Litigation Boutique. After completing his articles in 2010, Romany worked as an Associate with the same firm until deciding to return to Vancouver to join Whitelaw Twining.
Romany is building a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on personal injury, negligence, coverage issues, occupier's liability, product liability, municipal liability and construction and design deficiencies. Romany has appeared in Provincial and Superior Courts and has also advocated before tribunals. He has conducted trials in Provincial and Small Claims Courts.

Outside of the practice of law, Romany is an avid snowboarder and enjoys cooking, golfing, hiking, soccer, traveling, watching most sports and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks.
