Eva Christopher was called to the Alberta Bar in 1980 and practiced as a partner with Code Hunter (now Gowlings) in Calgary, Alberta until 1989. She was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1990 and that year began practicing with Whitelaw Twining.

Eva's practice focuses on bodily injury cases, including numerous claims involving infants. Eva has particular experience in the defence of catastrophic personal injury claims and is an experienced lecturer in this field. She has successfully defended a complex catastrophic personal injury case before a jury resulting in a dismissal of the action. Her practice also includes defence of wrongful death claims. She has been involved in the defence of medical malpractice cases for B.C. Hospitals and private clinics, commercial and social host liability cases, sports injury cases, products liability cases and sexual abuse cases. Her practice has also included motor vehicle liability cases and defences of major trucking firms and highway maintenance contractors.

Eva has appeared frequently before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as the Supreme Court of Alberta. Her practice regularly involves alternative dispute resolution and she has extensive experience in mediation.

Eva is the firm's primary contact with several insurance company clients for whom she frequently presents seminars and lectures. The firm is the main provider of legal services in British Columbia for some of those clients.
