Sherman Hood was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2002 and joined Whitelaw Twining in 2007. He practices in the area of general insurance litigation with an emphasis on the defence of personal injury claims. He also advises clients on coverage disputes and liability matters.

Prior to joining Whitelaw Twining, Sherman worked as in-house counsel for a major insurance company focussing exclusively on defending personal injury claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents. He has trial experience in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and has appeared as counsel before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal.
