Insurance is and always has been the backbone of Whitelaw Twining's litigation practice. Each of the firm’s three founding partners came from insurance defence backgrounds and recognized that firms with multiple practices do not necessarily value insurance clients in a manner consistent with the insurers’ expectations. Our firm was founded in 1979 for the sole purpose of serving the insurance community. Thirty years later, we continue to focus on insurance law and remain devoted to assisting insurers in all manner of issues in a practical, efficient and beneficial manner.
